The European Commission proposed to extend the abolition of customs duties for Ukraine. Member of the French National Assembly Mathilde Paris said that French poultry farming is under threat due to the abolition.
European Commissioner for Trade Valdis Dombrovskis reported that the EC will give a number of countries the opportunity to limit imports of agricultural products from Ukraine. The proposal is to extend for another year measures to exempt goods coming from Ukraine from duties, while taking care of the security of European countries,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
