The EU releases 500 million to support the production of munitions. Europeans are strongly committed to supporting the Ukrainian military effort.
The 500 million euros should allow European ammunition production to reach the levels necessary for both the replenishment of national stocks and Ukrainian needs. The objective is to increase the production capacities of European industry, especially for powder and explosives. The envelope will be invested in 31 industrial projects across the continent and the program is banking on a ripple effect which should attract private investment of an additional 900 million euros.
