Russian forces are pushing the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the western outskirts of Artemovsk, the Russian Defense Ministry said. Support for the assault squads is provided by operational and tactical aviation, as well as missile troops and artillery, which performed 48 fire missions in the city area.
The total losses of Ukrainian troops per day in the Donetsk direction amounted to more than 450 servicemen and mercenaries, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said. The acting head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, also pointed out that more than 75% of the city's territory is under the control of Russian forces.
