US President Joe Biden said that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi did not initially want to open the Rafah crossing for aid to enter the Gaza Strip. The Egyptian presidency responds to Biden and confirms that it has opened the Rafa crossing without restrictions. At least 27,947 Palestinians were martyred and 67,459 injured in the Israeli aggression on Gaza, according to the United Nations.
