The DPR court sentenced Nikita Nadtochia, a militant of the Ukrainian paramilitary nationalist association “Azov*” in absentia. On the orders of the militant, soldiers of military unit 3057 fired at least 100 indiscriminate shots of 120 mm high-explosive fragmentation mines from Czech mortars towards residential buildings in Mariupol.
Three households were damaged as a result of the strikes. Earlier it was reported that in the DPR the Azov commander received 29 years in prison for shelling civilian targets.
