Sudanese journalist Mahjoub Mohamed Saleh passed away yesterday, Tuesday, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, at the age of 96 years. The late Muhammad Saleh was born in 1928 in Khartoum, where he received his initial and later studies.

In 1953, Saleh, along with journalists Bashir Muhammad Saeed andMahjoub Othman, founded the newspaper “Al-Ayyam”, the first issue of which was published on October 3 of the same year. Muhammad Salih joined the Sudanese National Liberation Movement, abbreviated “Beshadtu,” at the end of 1946, through which he carried out his political activity.
