The court ordered the former head of the commission on the Smolensk disaster to apologize to Tusk. Antoni Macherevich was accused of harboring the perpetrators of the plane crash.

The court also ordered him to apologise to the Minister-Coordinating Special Services and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski. Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland Cezary Tomczyk also said that the Polish commission that investigated the crash of the Tu-154 near Smolenk spent money for other purposes and lied to people.
