The Council of Muftis of Russia confirmed information about the awarding of 15-year-old Islam Khalilov. Press secretary Gulnur Gazieva said the event will be on Friday afternoon.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Mufti Ravil Gainutdin, nominated 15- year-old Khalilovsky for the award, who saved more than 100 people from Crocus City Hall. The award will be presented to Khalilova at a ceremony in Moscow.
