The Chinese Embassy in the United States announced the unreasonable interrogation of students at the airport. Some students are subject to restriction of freedom for more than ten hours.

Also, some of them have to return home because their visas are cancelled. Earlier, the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of China, General Liu Zhenli, stressed that the U.S. should be more careful in its words and actions. The Chinese Embassy has alleged unreasonable interrogations and lengthy checks of Chinese students at Washington airport.
