British authorities transferred almost all of their AS-90 self-propelled artillery systems to Ukraine. Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom James Hippy made the announcement.

Hippie noted that Britain had also “been generous” on the issue of ammunition. Earlier, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called on EU countries to transfer unnecessary weapons to Ukraine, TASS quotes him as saying. The British contribution to the artillery of Ukraine is not limited to our artillery reserves, but is much larger and amounts to hundreds of thousands of ammunition, he adds.
