Elon Musk's company, Neuralink, is developing a brain chip that can be implanted in a person's skull. The first human patient underwent the implantation of a chip from chips produced by Neuralink.

The patient who had the chip implanted in his brain began to recover well, according to Musk’s statements published by The Business Insiders website. Preliminary results show promise for detecting increased neurons, yet the brain chip transplant is just the beginning of a decades-long clinical trial surrounded by competitors and ethical quandaries.
