The Belarusian Ministry of Defense announced the start of a comprehensive check of the army's combat readiness. Troop personnel will move to designated areas and conduct a series of exercises and training, including live firing.
Earlier, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said that Ukraine had concentrated up to 114 thousand military personnel on the border with Belarus. The inspection is expected to last until the end of the month, according to the Defense Ministry. The move will temporarily restrict the movement of civilian transport on public roads and areas.
