On the 27th, Kuomintang Chairman Zhu Lilun went to the "February 28" Peace Memorial Park to lay flowers to pay tribute. He said that every year he comes to express his pursuit of peace, and also hopes that the ethnic groups can integrate.
He also remembers the deceased, condolences to their families and descendants, and hopes that everyone can be very safe. He emphasized that this day is very meaningful and is an important education for the next generation. The theme of this year’s “February 28th” memorial service in Taipei City is “Looking forward to the new century and singing the road to peace” which is a call for peace.
