Thai volunteers dispatched to support local governments in Japan begin full-scale operations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand has been using an international cooperation framework modeled on the Overseas Cooperation Volunteers implemented by Japan's JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) The project in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, has been working to attract foreign tourists since December last year.
