American entrepreneur Elon Musk said that Tesla shareholders will vote on the possibility of re-registering the company from Delaware to Texas. The vote is due to the fact that a court in Delaware ruled to cancel Musk's payment of more than $55 billion as a compensation package from Tesla.
Musk announced this decision after he first held a vote on his social networks among ordinary users to re- register the company in Texas. He wrote about this on his page on the social network X. “Tesla will immediately decide to hold a shareholder vote on moving its state of incorporation to Texas,” Musk said.
