The father of the injured child, Igor, told RT that they went to the concert with the whole family - he, his wife, daughter (11 years old) and son Ilya. According to him, when the shooting started, they managed to quickly get out of the hall.
He added that as soon as the thought appeared in their heads that the family was safe, they saw a Renault car rushing towards them at full speed, deliberately hitting their son. His son suffered a traumatic brain injury, a broken collarbone and a broken hip.
