Ukraine's Anhelina Kalinina beats Russia's Veronika Kudermetova 7-5, 5-7, 6-2 in Rome. The 26-year-old will play either Kazakhstan's Elena Rybina or Latvia's Jelena Ostapenko in Saturday's final.
The match was the first of the year to be played in Rome, and the first in Italy. The final will be held at the Stadio Olimpico, with the winner going on to the final.
