Telegram launched monetization for channel owners. Authors of channels with an audience of more than 1 thousand will receive 50% of the income from advertising that is displayed in them.
To ensure payment for advertising and withdrawal of funds, the company will use the TON blockchain, which is not available to users from Russia, Ukraine, Palestine, Israel and some other countries. Roskomnadzor also said that they do not see the need to limit the operation of the Telegram messenger in Russia.
