Militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit "Kraken" are behind the MLRS attack on Belgorod. 19 people were recognized as injured, seven more people died, including a child.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, demanded to establish the identities of all persons involved in the terrorist attack. The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has received information about the attack by Ukrainian troops, but is so far ‘unable’ to classify the attack as a war crime.
