Taiwan TSMC's damaged equipment “New factory for cutting-edge semiconductor mass production is expected to be restored”. TSMC revealed that the earthquake on the 3rd damaged a small number of equipment in some factories and affected production lines.
The new factory will also include a factory in Tainan in the south, which is currently mass producing the world's most advanced 3-nanometer semiconductors. The Taiwanese authorities are aiming to dispel concerns that the supply chain will be affected by this earthquake.
