Taiwan Mingyang fire case closed, 6 people including chairman, general manager were prosecuted. Mingyang Company exploded and caught fire on September 22 last year, killing four firefighters and six employees and injuring more than a hundred people.
The Pingtung County Government determined that the factory's public hazardous materials exceeded the controlled quantity, did not provide complete chemical types, and did not assign dedicated personnel to assist in on-site disaster relief. A total of a heavy fine of NT$2.4 million was imposed.
