Taiwan Marine Corps impeached for using imitation guns to sell to two officers after losing pistols. For pretending to be real guns, Taiwan's supervisory agency passed a proposal to impeach the commander, Colonel Pan Dongsheng, and the commander of the 2nd Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Lin Jiawei.

The actions of the impeached persons also "severely damaged the image of the Taiwan military". In order to rectify the official precepts and eliminate luck, it is indeed necessary to punish them.
