The Turkish Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday that the trade deficit shrank by 10.3% year-on-year to reach $7.52 billion last March. The ministry added, in a statement, that exports declined 4.1% to $22.58 billion in March, while imports decreased 5.7%.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his country's exports in the last 12 months until October amounted to $254.8 billion. He noted that Turkey is third in export growth within the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
