UN Security Council is meeting on Monday for an emergency meeting at Russia's request. Meeting in New York to address US retaliatory attacks against Iranian-backed groups.
US bombed targets in Iraq and Syria on Saturday night in response to a drone attack in Jordan at the end of January that left three dead. The White House blamed Iran-backed militias for the attack and blamed them for a deadly attack on US soldiers stationed in Jordan. The attacks were condemned "firmly" by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
