A jury in New York has found Donald Trump responsible for sexually assaulting and defaming author E Jean Carroll. Trump cannot be sentenced to prison, instead he is sentenced to substantial damages.

The court has not found him guilty of the crime of sexual assault. Instead, this is E. Jean Carroll who sued Donald Trump for defamation and for hurting her when he sexually assaulted her in the 90s.
