Support group considers holding memorial service for Navalny this week, perhaps as a warning from Russian authorities. Russian authorities are expected to be more cautious.

Support groups have accused President Putin of having decided to kill him. Russian Presidential Spokesperson Peskov said on the 26th that the government had "nothing to do with it" denied any involvement. Meanwhile, a senior support group official said Navalny would be released in exchange for a former operative of the Russian security services imprisoned in Germany, along with two American prisoners.
