Sullivan: US expects Hungary to ratify Sweden's NATO membership. On February 5, the Hungarian parliament was unable to vote on ratifying Sweden's application to join NATO due to a lack of quorum.
Sullivan added that the American side is closely monitoring the situation with the ratification of Sweden's membership and expects a “constructive resolution” in the near future. The American authorities are disappointed that Hungary has delayed the process of ratifying Swedish's accession to NATO, US Ambassador to Budapest David Pressman said.
