Egypt and South Sudan offered to mediate between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Clashes erupted yesterday and are still ongoing in the capital Khartoum and other cities. Egypt's representative to the Arab League said that his country calls on both sides of the conflict in Sudan to ensure the safety of all Egyptian interests there.
African Union's Peace and Security Council said on Twitter that it had called for an emergency session to discuss political and security developments in Sudan.
