Hundreds of members of the Beja tribes demonstrated in Port Sudan and demanded arms from the General's army. No way out of the conflict is emerging in Saudi Arabia, where negotiations between warring parties have stalled since Sunday.

Since April 15, the war has left more than 750 dead, 5,000 wounded and nearly 150,000 refugees. Without water or electricity, with food stocks almost dry and less and less money in their pockets, they survive in sweltering heat thanks to networks of solidarity.
