Swedish-Iranian Habib Chaab has been executed in Iran, the Foreign Ministry confirms. Several Swedish politicians and foreign ministers are now expressing their anger against the Iranian regime.

In March this year, Iran's Supreme Court upheld the death penalty against Chaab, who had both Swedish and Iranian citizenship. The crime he has been convicted of is fighting against the Islamic regime, a religious and serious crime that is often punishable by death in the country. Norway's Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt also commented from Norway's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
