Stewart Rhodes led the Oath Keepers group during the storming of the U.S. Capitol in Washington DC.

The plan was to reinstall Donald Trump as president after he lost the 2020 election. Rhodes is sentenced to 18 years in prison for inciting the overthrow of the government. He is now convicted of incitement to conspiracy, a crime that has rarely been convicted in the United States in modern times. The judge in the case, Amit Mehta, announced that he will get 18 years.
