[HIGHLIGHTS] South Korea is checking a company that came under US sanctions due to trade with Russia

Daesung International Trading, registered in the city of Gimhae in Gyeongsangnam-do Province, became one of the foreign firms subject to restrictions by the United States on February 23. Earlier, the US Department of Commerce announced export restrictions against 93 companies from a number of countries for assisting the Russian Armed Forces and the Russian military-industrial complex.

The authorities of the Republic of Korea initiated an investigation into the company, which was subject to US sanctions due to trade with Russia.
