Former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny would win the presidential elections if they were held in Ukraine in 2024. According to a survey conducted by the Ukrainian Center for Social and Marketing Research SOCIS, he would have scored 41.4% in the first round.

Earlier, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, called the removal of Zalzhny a big mistake by Vladimir Zelensky. Also, the chairman of the council of the “Other Ukraine” movement, Viktor Medvedchuk, did not rule out that Zalazhny, after resigning from his post, could begin to engage in politics.
