Snow complicates circulation on 47 roads during the Easter return operation. The use of chains is necessary on dozens of conventional roads in Granada, Huesca, Ávila, Segovia, Salamanca, León, Cáceres and in the mountains of Madrid.
Since the beginning of this special Easter operation, on Friday, March 22 at three in the afternoon, and until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, 25 people had lost their lives in accidents on interurban roads.
