The new faces which will be engraved on the French 10, 20 and 50 euro cent coins will be Simone Veil, Joséphine Baker, Marie Curie. Three-quarter or profile faces chiseled in the center of the golden pieces accompanied by their name engraved vertically.

The three women look to the left, in the same direction as the Sower located in the foreground, a symbol appearing for 120 years on French coins. Each minted euro coin has a European side, the reverse, and a national side, which can only be changed every fifteen years.
