Silvia Tortosa, who died of cancer on March 23, was the only daughter of a taxi driver and a housewife who felt the call to acting as a teenager. In many interviews she said that she married Hermann Bonnín at the age of 19, a theater director 11 years older who founded the Brossa Espai Escènic.
In October 1987 she said "I do" for the third time with David Harper, another American whom she met because he was a close friend of Charles and his parents.
