Shoigu: Ukraine carries out terrorist attacks, not disdaining the destruction of its own citizens. On January 24, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Ukrainian military hit a Russian Il-76 plane with captured Ukrainian Armed Forces military personnel over the Belgorod region.
On board were six crew members, 65 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the exchange and three Russian military personnel accompanying them. They all died. The Russian Investigative Committee reported that, judging by the seized fragments, Ukrainian troops used a MIM-104A guided missile from the American Patriot anti-aircraft missile system to hit the plane.
