Shoigu: Russia is taking measures to maintain high combat readiness of military units. Social support programs for participants in the special military operation and members of their families are being implemented.
Earlier, Shoigu congratulated military personnel, volunteers and veterans on Defender of the Fatherland Day. Also, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the SVO soldiers the true heroes of Russia. The head of the department noted that measures are being taken to systematically improve combat training and equip troops with modern weapons and military equipment.
