The head of the Islamic Movement inside Palestine, Sheikh Raed Salah, refused to reveal the name of the Arab official who incited the Israeli occupation to ban the Islamic movement. He said that there are Arabs who made their interest linked to the Israeli establishment and not to the Palestinian cause.

He also revealed that during his last prison period he was placed in isolation for a full 17 months, during which he was subjected to the most heinous types of torture. He criticized the normalization of some Arab countries with Israel, saying, "Everything that clashes with our Islamic, Arab and Palestinian constants is rejected"
