The Zhenjiang District Government of Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province has actively promoted the integrated development of culture and tourism. The base is mainly based on the remains and spatial settlements of private Lingnan University and private Soochow University in Dacun during the Anti-Japanese War period.
The first, second and third phases of the project have been fully completed, and landscape nodes such as Huaishitang have been built. It is reported that the "Special Pilot Work for Market-oriented Operation of the South China Education History Research (Damura) Base" has been included in the key reform work and major reform pilot in 2023.
