Åre municipality has decided to prioritise the construction of permanent housing and municipal services. Turistic plans will be paused until a new treatment plant is built.
There are 14 plans that KS will now review and report at the next municipal board meeting. The work of developing plans has just begun, says Martine Eng, chairman of the municipal executive board in Åredalen. It may take a few years before a newtreatment plant can be built, says Eng.
