Seven Palestinians were shot in an Israeli army raid in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. Six of the people suffered minor injuries, while the injury status on the seventh is more unclear.
The crackdown came just hours after two people were injured after a person opened fire on a vehicle in Jerusalem on Tuesday. Tensions have been high in the conflict-ridden region for some time, but intensified even more in early April when violence broke out at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
