Settlers storm Al-Aqsa on the eve of Ramadan, and the occupation continues to escalate in the West Bank. Meanwhile, settlers today began establishing a new settlement outpost south of Ein Al-Sakout in the northern Jordan Valley.
Palestinian factions and Islamic leaders - within the Green Line - have called for traveling to the blessed Al-aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan. Israeli Channel 12 reported that there was a large deployment of security forces in the vicinity of the mosque for fear of violent disturbances.
