The Islamic Waqf Department in the occupied city of Jerusalem reported that dozens of extremist settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday. The Israeli police continued to impose restrictions on the entry of Palestinians to the mosque.

The head of the Hebron Reconstruction Committee warned of Israeli measures paving the way for the seizure of 70 Palestinian properties in the heart of the city and the transfer of ownership to settlers. In January, Haaretz reported that the Israeli government, as part of the coalition agreement between the Likud and religious Zionist parties, planned to transfer some 13,13 dunams (70,1948 square meters) of land.
