Senegal: the national dialogue recommends a first round of the presidential election on June 2. The date allows voting before the winter, that is to say before the rainy season which begins in July.
The commission also proposed to keep the list of 19 candidates validated by the Constitutional Council, with the possibility of re-examining the files of failed or so-called dispossessed candidates. The last proposal of the dialogue is to allow Macky Sall to ensure the transition at the head of state after the end of his mandate.
