Senegal: the Constitutional Council cancels the postponement of the presidential election. The law which postpones the election until December 15, 2024 contrary to the Constitution and annuls the decree of President Macky Sall which canceled the election.

RFI's AMANUEL SILESHI: The postponement is a violation of the country's constitution and is a breach of the rule of law. The Constitutional Council declared the law which postpone the presidential elections until December 2015. The election was due to take place on February 25.
