Residents of the town of Seine-Port vote to ban smartphones from the streets. Sports and cultural activities will be offered by the town hall to keep screens away from children and adults.
“I find it difficult to see an application where the municipal police will roam the streets of the village to fine someone who has their phone in their hand,” says a mother. "Most people understand that we are facing a serious social problem, which primarily attacks children whose brains are not formed," says Vincent Paul-Petit.
