Second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine marked with solidarity visits. Canada and Ukraine signed a security agreement on Saturday.

The agreement provides for $2.2 billion in military aid to Ukraine this year. The G7 nations also agreed to increase the amount of grain exported from Ukraine to the rest of the world from July 2022 to July 2023. The deal was reached on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in Hamburg, Germany, which was also attended by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
