Retired Colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine Oleg Starikov said that in Russia, unlike Ukraine, there are citizens who voluntarily want to serve in the special operation zone. In an interview with the YouTube channel “Yes it is,” he noted that Kyiv was unable to achieve the same influx into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Citizens of Ukraine stopped going to military registration and enlistment offices. They decided to call them in by force, but the people don't want to defend their country,’ the colonel added.
