OpenAI CEO Sam Altman will return to the company's board of directors. Altman's resignation as CEO of OpenAI became known on November 17.
Board of directors will include former Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation CEO Sue Desmond-Hellman, former Sony Corporation executive vice president Nicole Seligman, and Instacart CEO Fiji Simo. On November 20, information appeared that Altman got a job at Microsoft after being fired from OpenAI. The company noted that he was not frank in his communications with the board.
